A Taste Of Honey

On Wednesday 18th September, Year 10 and 11 GCSE Drama students traveled to The Lowry Theatre to watch the National Theatre's production of 'A Taste of Honey.' Written by Shelagh Delaney when she was 19, the play is considered a landmark of 'kitchen sink realism.' With a three piece band and an impressive cast including Jodie Prenger (winner of BBC's 'I'd do Anything') it was certainly an interesting adaptation and a worthwhile experience for the students.
